Welcome to Hill's Harvest
To All of Our Customers, Friends, and Families of Hill’s Harvest
It is with great sadness and disappointment that Hill’s Harvest will not be opening this season. Because of Helen’s passing last year and due to unforeseen circumstances, this difficult decision had to be made.
Over the last 20 seasons, Helen and I both enjoyed providing a service to our community, never dreaming that it would grow to the extent that it did. We started out in very humble beginnings the first year, a tarp propped up by 2x4’s and ice chests to keep everything cool, from there we expanded to the store that we have had the ten year few years.
Over the years, both of us made many friends some of which became lasting friendships. There are so many things that I am going to miss, talking to customers that have been coming for years and their families. I have seen 5 generations come to the farm and take pictures and pick pumpkins in the pumpkin patch. Helping a grandfather pick the largest pumpkin we had so he could carve it out and take a picture of his 6 weeks old grandson in it. All of the groups of special needs adults and children, the numerous day care centers in the area coming to pick pumpkins and going on hayrides. Answering all the questions that you had about the products we sold and about canning which was Helen’s forte.
On behalf of Helen, her son, Jake who sprung this on us 20 years ago and myself; thank you to all of our loyal customers, friends, neighbors, our families and employees without you there would not be a Hill’s Harvest.
Hopefully, in the near future we will be able to find a new venue. Therefore, we will not be taking down our website Hillsharvest.net. If you have any questions and are looking for salsa, pickles peaches, or whatever, please call 303-882-0488 or e-mail us at email@example.com.
This is not a farewell,

The Country in the City
In the summer of 2004, Hill's Harvest opened their farm to the public in Thornton. where neighbors could finally enjoy the same goodness of fresh vegetables and pumpkins that we were growing. Fruits native to Colorado; peaches, apple varieties, cherries, pears, and apricots are trucked in from the Western Slope each week to allow the freshness of the harvest to over-power the products of other states. At Hill's Harvest, we have All-Natural Fruit Preserves from Hotchkiss, raw unfiltered honey from the hives on our farm as well as local honey. The last week of July or first week of August we start selling and roasting Chili peppers, the Pumpkins will be available in September. Looking out over the houses always reminds a person of any age there is a land. A land that causes the streets to succumb to the green belt or a farm that is situate between. We meet the needs of our neighbors by providing healthy and fresh alternatives to seasonal cuisine. Take the opportunity to live healthy and stay healthy by eating fresh fruits and vegetables. Our goal is to bring the taste of fresh fruits and vegetables to your table from our farm.
